The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating and managing orthodontic problems such as misaligned teeth and jaws. They will also provide preventive treatments such as fluoride application, mouthguards and advice on diet to help maintain oral health. As part of their role, they will use various orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers and archwires to realign teeth. The Orthodontist will also create treatment plans based on individual patient needs and monitor progress during treatment.
