We are looking for a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability or ageing. This includes helping with their rehabilitation, preventing further injury and providing advice on how to reduce the risk of injury in the future.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist who is a qualified professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of physiotherapy or equivalent. Previous experience working with children or elderly patients would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate should also have a good understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with a comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy techniques including manual therapy, massage, electrotherapy, exercise therapy and therapeutic modalities. The ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans is essential.

The successful candidate will have:
• A degree in physiotherapy from an accredited university
• A valid license to practice physiotherapy in Dubai
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to plan treatments that promote wellbeing
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of current legislation related to health care
• Ability to maintain accurate records within required timescales

The role involves assessing patients’ needs through observation and conducting tests such as strength tests. The Physiotherapist must then develop appropriate treatment plans that aim to restore function while minimising pain levels through massage and other physical exercises such as stretching or strengthening activities. In addition, they may provide advice on posture management or diet plans that could help reduce pain levels or improve mobility levels. Finally, the Physiotherapist will need to assess progress regularly and modify treatment plans accordingly or refer patients onto other health professionals if necessary.
