The Library of Dubai is looking for a talented individual to serve as its librarian. This librarian will be responsible for organizing and managing the library's collections and services and for assisting library patrons in finding the information they need.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, an excellent knowledge of library resources and services, and a friendly, outgoing attitude. Excellent customer service skills are also essential. The successful candidate will be expected to create a welcoming atmosphere for library patrons.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in library science or related field, as well as experience working in a library setting. Experience with cataloging and classifying books is preferred but not required. Knowledge of computer systems and software used in libraries is also desirable.

The librarian is expected to keep up with changes in the field by continually learning new techniques, technologies, and developments in the world of libraries. The librarian must also be able to quickly learn new software applications used by the library.

This position offers a competitive salary of 1000 AED/month plus benefits commensurate with experience. We are ready to consider foreigners who meet the criteria stated above.
