Duties and Responsibilities of a Teacher
• Plan lessons appropriate to the age group, ability level and language level of the students
• Prepare lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
• Monitor student performance in accordance with school policy
• Assess student progress through tests and feedback sessions
• Encourage collaboration among students while engaging them in class activities
• Maintain up-to-date records on each student’s progress throughout the academic year
• Facilitate parent-teacher meetings where required
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, parent functions and extra-curricular activities as required
