Caregiver in Abu-Dhabi, UAE


We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Caregiver to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be required to provide personal care and support to elderly or disabled individuals in their own homes or daycare facilities.

The successful applicant must have a genuine caring attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Previous experience in caring for seniors is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate should also be physically fit and able to lift and transfer heavy objects, as well as participate in recreational activities with the client.

The Caregiver must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor client’s health condition by taking vital signs such as temperature, pulse rate, and blood pressure; record information in client's chart
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulation and meal preparation
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician
• Provide companionship by engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities
• Drive clients to doctor appointments or run errands when necessary
• Report any changes in the client's behavior or physical condition to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with light housekeeping such as washing dishes or making beds

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent certification; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• Ability to provide emotional support and companionship for clients • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Must possess physical strength, stamina, mobility and dexterity necessary for daily tasks • Must possess valid driver's license (preferred) • Previous experience working with seniors is desirable but not essential
