Caregiver Job in Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide support to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes, assisting them with activities of daily living and helping them maintain their highest level of functioning and independence.

Job Description
The Caregiver is responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, ambulating, feeding and meal preparation. He/she must communicate effectively with patients and family members to ensure the best care possible is provided. The Caregiver must be willing to work independently or as part of a team to help meet the needs of the client.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming etc.)
• Assist with transfers and ambulation including use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers
• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding
• Monitor patient condition by observing physical or mental health changes
• Provide companionship by talking to the patient or reading aloud
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician
• Report changes in patient’s conditions to the supervisor or primary care giver

Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
