Accountant
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting functions, preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts and analyzing variances. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
• Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of data entry
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow statements and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Develop effective internal controls to ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Provide assistance to external audit teams during annual reviews
Qualifications & Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles preferred
• Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks or similar software preferred
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
