They must also possess an excellent understanding of the industry standards, current trends, and recipes. An understanding of food safety regulations is essential to this role.

The primary responsibilities of the Chef include developing meal plans, managing kitchen staff schedules, ordering ingredients and supplies, ensuring consistent quality control, monitoring food costs, developing menus, creating innovative recipes, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a safe work environment.
