Land surveyor in Al Shamkhah City, UAE


We are looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team in Al Shamkhah City, working on a variety of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing field surveys, analyzing data and preparing reports.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar technical field and at least two years of experience in land surveying. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of land surveying equipment, be computer literate and have the ability to read and understand blueprints and maps. In addition, the candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for collecting data from the field and analyzing it to prepare reports on the findings. This will involve using specialized equipment such as total stations, levelers, GPS systems, computers and other related tools to measure distances, elevations, angles, curves and other features of a site. The surveyor must also interpret aerial photographs and satellite images; analyze results of surveys; create accurate maps; identify property lines; make calculations for engineering designs; prepare legal descriptions for property boundaries; prepare drawings for design plans; verify accuracy of survey data; determine areas suitable for construction sites; inspect construction sites to ensure proper installation of survey markers; assist with studies related to environmental impact assessments
