Job Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing oilfield operations plans using mathematical models, geoscience data and analytics tools
- Overseeing the drilling of exploratory wells, operations of production wells and maintenance activities
- Conducting research into new technologies and techniques to improve production efficiency
- Analyzing seismic data for mapping subsurface rock formations for possible drilling sites
- Analyzing well test data to determine pressure drawdown scenarios for optimal production rates
- Assisting in the development of new drilling methods or technologies that can be used to reduce costs or increase efficiency in oilfield operations
