Job Title: Chef
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1500 QAR/Month
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a chef in a professional kitchen
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Certification from a culinary school will be an advantage
• Immigrant status is accepted
Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals according to the menu specifications and standards set by the head chef or restaurant manager.
• Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
• Manage food preparation and ensure the quality of food is up to standard.
• Monitor food stocks and place orders when there are shortages.
• Ensure that the kitchen is clean and meets health and safety regulations.
• Create new recipes or modify existing recipes depending on customer feedback.
• Supervise other kitchen staff and provide guidance when needed.
