Optometrist Vacancy in Doha

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages. He/she will diagnose and treat vision problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and glaucoma, and prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses. The Optometrist will also perform comprehensive eye exams on patients and provide preventative advice about eye health.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams on patients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat vision problems
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Provide advice about preventative care for maintaining healthy eyesight
• Monitor the progress of existing conditions and refer patients to other healthcare specialists as needed
• Document patient records accurately and keep detailed patient histories
• Ensure the highest quality of patient care is maintained at all times
• Adhere to all professional standards of practice

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field (or equivalent)
• Licensed to practice optometry in Doha (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years’ experience working as an Optometrist
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Fluency in English & Arabic (preferred)

Salary: 1000 per month
