Job Title: Accountant

Salary: 1700

This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. We are seeking an individual with a professional accounting background, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full cycle of accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong working knowledge of accounting software is essential as is experience with spreadsheet applications and general computer proficiency. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate accurate record keeping skills as well as excellent communication skills. A CPA or CMA designation would be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, prepare balance sheets, income statements and other reports necessary for day-to-day operations as well as provide advice on financial matters such as tax planning strategies. They will also be responsible for meeting all applicable deadlines set by the local government including filing taxes and other related documents.
