At our prestigious hotel in Dubai, we are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the highest quality standards in the selection of wines and other beverages. They will also be required to develop their knowledge of wines and other beverages through research and tasting.

The successful applicant can expect a competitive salary of 1300 AED plus the benefit of working with a high-end establishment in the city center. The successful candidate will receive training in wine production and selection, as well as weekly tastings to ensure that they have up-to-date knowledge of products on offer. In addition to this, they will also have access to special events such as wine dinners or educational activities that promote wine knowledge among staff and customers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about wines and spirits, has good interpersonal skills, is customer oriented, has strong organizational abilities and is able to work independently with minimal supervision. We do not require any prior experience in sommelier services but we would prefer candidates who have some knowledge or experience in the area. A basic understanding of grape varieties, production methods, regions and styles is necessary but further training will be provided if needed. Having a professional qualification related to wine or spirits is an advantage but not required for this position.
