Psychiatrist job in Doha Qatar


We are looking for an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric care and treatment to patients suffering from mental and emotional disorders.

The Psychiatrist's primary goal is to diagnose, treat, and monitor the mental health of patients while also encouraging them to achieve their best possible well-being. The Psychiatrist will be expected to work closely with other medical professionals in order to provide comprehensive care. Responsibilities include conducting initial patient assessments, providing individual therapy, prescribing medications, monitoring patient progress, and developing treatment plans. The Psychiatrist should also be able to provide support and guidance for family members of the patient as needed.

The ideal candidate should have a doctoral degree in psychiatry or a related field as well as board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry or a similar organization. Previous experience in mental health is preferred but not required. Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle highly sensitive information with discretion.
