The primary role of the Welder is to join, fabricate, and repair metal components using various welding processes. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings and schematics, selecting materials from stock, setting up equipment, preparing surfaces for welding and operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in order to fabricate or repair metal parts or structures. Additionally, you may be required to use oxy-fuel cutting equipment as well as grinders and other tools in order to prepare metal parts for welding or fit them with other components.
