We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will drive a truck to transport goods and materials over long distances in a safe and timely manner.

The job requires someone who is responsible, reliable and has the ability to work independently. In order to be successful in this role, the candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, be safety-oriented, and possess basic mechanical knowledge.

The Truck Driver will need a valid license for driving heavy goods vehicles; experience driving in the city and on highways; knowledge of cargo securement; the ability to keep accurate logs of their daily activities; and familiarity with local traffic laws. They should also have experience with loading and unloading cargo.

The Truck Driver will be responsible for inspecting vehicles before each trip; planning routes using maps or GPS devices; adhering to traffic laws while driving; loading goods onto trucks; unloading goods upon arrival at their destination; completing pre-trip inspections of the vehicle’s systems such as lights, brakes, gas, oil etc.; monitoring road conditions during trips and reporting any issues or delays to dispatchers or supervisors; collecting payment from customers when necessary; keeping accurate records of all trips including delivery details such as time taken etc.; performing periodic maintenance on vehicles such as cleaning them or checking fluid levels.
