Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, overseeing and directing library activities, and providing research assistance to patrons. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience as a librarian and is open to both citizens and immigrants.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage the library by organizing resources, setting policies, and managing staff
• Oversee all library activities, such as book selection, cataloging, circulation, interlibrary loan services, reference services, seminars and lectures
• Develop new initiatives for improving library services
• Provide research assistance to patrons by helping them locate books or other materials in the library collection
• Teach patrons how to use online databases to find information
• Maintain inventory of books and other resources
• Promote the use of the library through outreach programs
• Maintain accurate records related to library usage
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field required
• 1+ years of experience as a librarian or in a similar role
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of cataloging methods and reference tools
Salary: 1300 AED
