We are looking for a qualified Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi with a salary of 1500. We are open to consider a foreigner who is eligible to work in the UAE.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills as well as an ability to work independently and part of a team. The Librarian should be familiar with library systems and operations, including cataloging, circulation and reference functions. Having knowledge of library automation software is also preferable.

The successful candidate can benefit from working within a dynamic team environment that provides opportunities for career growth and development. We will provide ongoing training to help develop the candidate’s technical and interpersonal skills.

The role of the Librarian will include but not be limited to: designing cataloging systems; providing library access services; interpreting information needs; maintaining library databases; developing library policies; helping patrons locate materials; arranging book displays; participating in library promotions; maintaining reference collection services; assessing customer satisfaction levels; managing library budgets and resources; conducting research projects; attending professional meetings/workshops.
