Job Description:
- Process customer payments accurately, using cash registers or other point of sale systems.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers by giving them accurate information about products, prices and promotions.
- Balance cash drawers at the end of each day.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to supervisors or managers.
- Assist customers with return/exchange requests.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area at all times.
- Adhere to all safety regulations when handling money or equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working as a cashier in a retail environment preferred.
- Strong math skills essential as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite preferred but not required. - Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs., bend, stoop, reach overhead etc., while performing job duties. - Must be willing to work nights/weekends/holidays if required.
