We are seeking an experienced Chef for our restaurant in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes served in the restaurant. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food, excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a chef with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a professional kitchen.
• Extensive knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
• Excellent team working and communication skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Ability to manage staff effectively.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
• An immigrant is welcome to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Plan menus in collaboration with other members of the kitchen staff.
• Prepare ingredients for use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc).
• Cook dishes according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared on time and served correctly according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Manage kitchen operations during shifts, including supervising other staff members, delegating tasks and ensuring high levels of performance from team members at all times.
