Position: Accountant

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: 1600 QR per month

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The Accountant will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and timely financial records of the company. This position requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Prepare and file all necessary tax documents in accordance with local laws and regulations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas of improvement
• Develop effective processes to ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments
• Monitor budgeting activities to ensure adherence to approved budget guidelines
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Expert knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel) as well as QuickBooks or other accounting software

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
