Sommelier vacancy in Dubai UAE


Job description:
We are looking for a professional Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, as well as excellent knowledge of wine and spirits.

Responsibilities:
β€’ Advise customers on food and wine pairings, based on their tastes and preferences.
β€’ Recommend wines to customers based on their budgets and preferences.
β€’ Assist in the selection, ordering and delivery of wines from suppliers.
β€’ Ensure that all wines are stored properly and securely to maintain quality.
β€’ Develop relationships with wineries, restaurants and other establishments to secure exclusive deals for the establishment.
β€’ Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of trends in the wine industry.
β€’ Provide assistance with events or tastings hosted by the establishment.
β€’ Train other staff members on wine knowledge and proper service techniques.
β€’ Develop promotional materials for wines sold at the establishment.

Salary: 1200 AED per month (negotiable). We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position.
