Job Description: Sommelier – Dubai

Job Responsibilities:
- Selecting, obtaining and storing wines for the restaurant
- Advising customers on wines to choose from according to their taste preferences and food they order
- Recommending wines that pair well with dishes on the menu
- Keeping records of all wine selections sold in the restaurant
- Monitoring stock levels and helping to place orders when necessary
- Assisting in pricing wine selections for sale in the restaurant

Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a sommelier preferred but not essential
- Excellent knowledge of different wines from around the world
- A passion for wine, food and customer service
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written - Ability to think creatively when selecting wines for the restaurant's menu - Ability to work well under pressure and complete tasks quickly - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
