Job Description:
We are looking for an organized and self-motivated Librarian to join our team in Dubai. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining library collections and providing assistance to patrons. You should be familiar with library cataloging systems and have excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will have at least one year of librarian experience.

The primary duties of the Librarian include:
• Organizing and cataloging library materials, including books, magazines, journals, newspapers, CDs and other multimedia materials.
• Assisting patrons with locating books and other library materials, as well as answering questions regarding library services and policies.
• Developing library programs such as book clubs or story times for children.
• Training volunteers on proper use of library resources and equipment.
• Preparing reports on circulation data or user feedback surveys.
• Managing budgets for supplies or equipment purchases.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the library facility by ensuring that shelves are properly stocked and equipment is in working order.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field required.
• At least one year of librarian experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with library cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal System or Library of Congress Classification System preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with patrons of all ages in a professional manner.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
