Job Title: Librarian - Dubai

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: 1600 AED/month

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing, managing and preserving our library resources. The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
• Maintain library resources, including books, magazines, audio-visual materials and digital media.
• Catalog new materials as they arrive in the library.
• Ensure that the library is kept neat and organized.
• Assist patrons by providing information about library materials and services.
• Manage circulation of materials, including checking out and returning items to patrons.
• Keep track of overdue items and collect fines from borrowers.
• Compile reports on library usage and activities as required.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field required.
• Previous experience working in a library preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and library software systems is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patrons of all ages and backgrounds.
