Data Analyst - Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis and a deep understanding of the research process. He/she should be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and have a good understanding of database systems, software development and statistical methods. Additionally, they must be able to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, identify trends, and provide recommendations based on their findings.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collecting and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
- Utilizing advanced analytics tools such as SAS/SPSS to identify trends/patterns in complex data sets
- Developing databases that can store large amounts of data for easy retrieval
- Developing new processes for automating data loading and transformation
- Designing dashboards that provide insights from the collected data
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions accordingly

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience working with databases, software development or statistical methods
- Proven experience working with large datasets (SQL/NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically
- Good understanding of software development tools (Python/R)
