Cashier job in Ras-al-Khaimah UAE for foreigners


Job Title: Cashier
Location: Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE
Salary: 1200 AED/Month

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing customer service and maintaining the overall financial integrity of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds and change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is sufficient change
• Stock shelves and clean checkout areas
• Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies
• Resolve customer complaints as needed
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Bag items securely

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Proven working experience as a Cashier or in a relevant position (preferably foreigner)
• Basic math skills; accuracy is a must!
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and colleagues. Additional language skills are a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of customer service practices and point of sale systems
• Ability to work with the team and individually
