Surveyor - Haur-Fakkan

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. This role offers an attractive salary of 1700. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this post.

Job Summary:
The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys as well as producing accurate plans and drawings of land features, based on measurements taken in the field. The role involves working with survey equipment such as transits, levels and theodolites to measure angles and distances from the ground. The Surveyor must be able to work independently in remote locations, with minimal supervision.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct surveys for construction projects such as roads, buildings, bridges or tunnels
• Utilize survey equipment such as total stations, electronic distance measuring devices (EDMs), GPS receivers, lasers and transits to take accurate measurements in the field
• Calculate measurements from field data using software applications such as AutoCAD
• Take precise notes of all survey readings
• Prepare detailed maps of surveyed areas including features such as topography, boundaries, contours and legal descriptions
• Analyze survey results to determine the exact location of boundaries or other features on a property
• Maintain records of all surveys conducted or compiled
• Ensure accuracy of all survey results by verifying data with calculations or other methods
• Adhere to safety protocols while conducting surveys

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field is required • Must have at least 4 years’ experience working as a Surveyor in a professional setting • Strong knowledge of surveying instruments, software applications such as AutoCAD and mathematics concepts is essential • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to work independently in remote locations with minimal supervision • Good physical condition for outdoor work under varying weather conditions • Valid driver’s license is preferred
