Cashier job vacancy in Sharjah UAE for unskilled worker


We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team in Sharjah, UAE!

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving payments from customers and providing change, while also ensuring that the customer experience is as pleasant as possible. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of basic math.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with information about the store
- Process payments using the cash register
- Accept cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment
- Count the money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Issue customer receipts
- Ensure accuracy when handling financial transactions
- Balance daily sales totals
- Answer customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Restock shelves as needed
- Maintain a clean workspace at all times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in similar roles is preferred
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Attention to detail with accuracy in data entry
