Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for all the culinary needs of the restaurant, from menu planning to staff training and kitchen management. The Executive Chef will work closely with the management team to ensure that the restaurant delivers high-quality food and service to its customers.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop creative menus based on customer feedback and business goals
• Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, storage, safety and sanitation
• Ensure quality control of all ingredients used in the preparation of food items
• Train and manage kitchen staff including cooks, dishwashers, pastry chefs and other kitchen personnel
• Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and order items as needed
• Maintain cost control systems to keep costs within budget
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Create innovative dishes to enhance customer experience
Job Requirements:
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar culinary role within a high-end restaurant setting
• Knowledge of international cooking styles such as French, Italian, Asian etc.
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate staff members
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage
Salary Range: 1500 - 2500 depending on qualifications and experience
