Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Transport goods to various locations according to a pre-determined schedule
• Load and unload goods safely, using appropriate tools and equipment
• Ensure the load is secured correctly before setting off on a journey
• Follow safety regulations strictly when operating the vehicle
• Maintain records of deliveries, including driver logs and other documents as required by law
Qualifications & Skills Required:
• Valid commercial driver’s license with relevant endorsements for the vehicle type being operated (Class A or B)
• Experience driving long distances over extended periods of time
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Excellent knowledge of applicable road safety regulations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
