Position: Librarian

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Salary: 1100 AED per month

We are seeking an experienced and professional Librarian to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a great opportunity to become part of a dynamic and diverse team in one of the world's most vibrant cities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing our Library resources, including books, electronic resources, periodicals, and other media. They will also be responsible for cataloguing and maintaining the Library’s records. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and be knowledgeable in the field of library science.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize library resources including books, electronic resources, periodicals, and other media

• Cataloguing of library resources

• Maintain records for all library materials

• Monitor library usage by patrons and staff

• Assist patrons with research requests

• Develop database systems for cataloging and tracking materials

• Provide training on the use of library materials to staff members

• Maintain strict adherence to copyright laws for all materials used at the library

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science from an accredited college or university

• At least 3 years’ experience as a librarian or related position

• Knowledgeable in the use of computers and software related to libraries (e.g., databases)

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
