He/she must be able to provide excellent customer service, take orders from customers, serve food and drinks in a timely manner, and have knowledge of menu items. Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Greet customers warmly while taking their orders
-Provide accurate information about menu items
-Upsell additional products when appropriate
-Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering software system
-Check orders before serving them to ensure they are complete and of high quality
-Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
-Serve food and drink orders promptly in accordance with established guidelines for quality and portion control
-Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure compliance with local regulations
-Ensure tables are clean when guests arrive and clear away dishes promptly after meals are finished
-Handle payment transactions according to established standards
-Perform side work at the start or end of each shift as required by the restaurant management team

Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role in the hospitality industry • Knowledge of basic food hygiene regulations • Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal communication skills • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights & weekends • Immigrant status is welcomed
