Civil Engineer – Doha, Qatar

Job Responsibilities:

As a Civil Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing various structures such as bridges, roads, buildings etc., analyzing loads and stresses on these structures, preparing cost estimates for construction projects, supervising construction work in progress on site and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your other duties will include attending meetings with clients or contractors regarding project progress or changes in design plans; creating reports on project status; investigating problems at construction sites; developing technical solutions; ensuring that the work is completed safely and within budget; participating in research programs related to civil engineering topics; providing technical advice when needed; and performing other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

We require a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university for this role. You must also have experience working with AutoCAD software as well as basic knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations. Strong analytical skills are essential for this position, along with excellent written communication skills. Knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6 is preferred but not necessary. We would also be interested in applicants who have some work experience related to civil engineering projects but it is not required for this role.
