Welder Job Description

We are looking for a Welder to join our team at our Jabal-Ali location. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal components using manual or semi-automatic welding processes. The Welder is expected to have knowledge of materials, equipment, and processes used in metal fabrication and welding.

Requirements:
• At least three years of experience in welding metal components
• Must have a valid welding license or certification
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of safety rules related to welding
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures
• Must pass a drug test prior to employment
• We are willing to consider an immigrant for the position.

Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and technical drawings in order to accurately fabricate components from steel, aluminum, etc.
• Select the appropriate type of welding process based on the material being welded and the desired outcome (e.g., TIG, MIG, etc.)
• Follow safety procedures at all times while operating equipment and working with hazardous materials
• Inspect welds for accuracy and conformity with specifications using a variety of tools (e.g., calipers, gauges).
• Install and repair products by performing maintenance on machinery used for fabrication or welding
• Carry out periodic maintenance on equipment such as replacing worn out parts or performing minor repairs

Salary: 1300 AED
