Pharmacist job vacancy in Riyadh Saudi Arabia


We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience in the field. The successful applicant will be expected to provide excellent customer service, ensure accurate medication dispensing and provide advice on the use of non-prescription medications.

The primary duties of the pharmacist include:
• Dispensing prescribed medications and advising patients on their safe use;
• Discussing any potential side effects with patients and answering any questions they may have;
• Verifying that prescriptions are correct, complete and accurate;
• Keeping track of patient profiles, including allergies and medications taken;
• Preparing insurance claim forms for reimbursement purposes;
• Liaising with doctors and other healthcare professionals to keep up to date with medication changes; and
• Maintaining accurate records of controlled substances.

The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, a customer-oriented mindset, accuracy and attention to detail. A degree in pharmacy is essential for this role as well as current licensure from the Saudi Ministry of Health or eligibility for licensure. We will consider an immigrant for this position so long as they hold a valid passport. Salary offered is 1100 SAR per month.
