Merchandiser - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to grow and develop with a company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing retail merchandising strategies in order to maximize sales and profits. The ideal individual should have experience in forecasting, inventory management, product placement and pricing strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Develop retail merchandising strategy based on market trends and customer preferences
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate return of slow-moving items
• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth
• Ensure product availability in all areas of store floor as well as online channels
• Collaborate with store managers to implement promotional campaigns
• Negotiate terms with suppliers
• Assist in the development of marketing materials such as store displays, signs and other visual aids
• Manage the product selection process from concept to delivery

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably within Saudi Arabia)

• Proven track record of success in driving sales and achieving targets

• Excellent knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies and consumer behavior

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication skills

Salary: 1400 SAR/month. We are also open to considering immigrants for this position.
