JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Jabal-Ali. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing the library's collections, as well as providing research assistance and reference services.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, as well as at least 1 year of experience working in a library setting. Knowledge of library cataloguing systems, databases and current technology is also essential. An understanding of Arabic language and culture is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the library's collections, catalogue new materials, ensure accuracy in cataloguing entries, provide research assistance to patrons, and respond to inquiries from both patrons and staff members. Additionally, the Librarian will create educational programs for the community and coordinate with local schools for additional programming opportunities.
