and the duties of the candidate

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should have strong financial knowledge, be able to work independently and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary of 1300, and are willing to consider foreign applicants. As an Accountant in our team, you will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting-related tasks, including maintaining financial records, producing financial reports, preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will also be in charge of preparing payrolls, filling out tax forms as well as working on other administrative tasks assigned by the Financial Manager. Additionally, you may also need to assist with audits and provide support in other areas such as customer service.

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years of experience in the same field. A certification such as CPA or CMA is beneficial but not mandatory. Knowledge of bookkeeping practices is essential as well as excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite) and familiarity with accounting software (SAP or similar). In addition to this, you must have strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail and accuracy.
