Job Title: Welder
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1100 QAR/Month

We are looking to hire an experienced Welder for our team based in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabrication of different types of products, as well as performing other related duties.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate welding equipment to weld metals in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Read blueprints or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Measure and mark equipment according to specifications.
• Cut materials using power saws, cutting torches, and hand-held air grinders.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for welding tasks.
• Remove rough spots from work pieces with portable grinders or sanders.
• Monitor the fitting and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
• Inspect completed work pieces for accuracy and adherence to specifications.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing setting; experience in fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings; knowledge of engineering principles is preferred.
• Ability to use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in a safe manner; experience with electric arc welding is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to the use of welding equipment and tools.
• Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift heavy objects without assistance; manual dexterity required for precise work with small tools and materials.
