Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent craftsmanship skills, who can work independently and handle a wide variety of projects. This role involves working in residential/commercial settings and requires the ability to carry out complex tasks with precision and accuracy. The salary for this position is 1000. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this role.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibility of a Carpenter is to construct, assemble, and repair structures using wood, metal and other materials. This may include measuring, cutting, fitting, fixing, installing and constructing various types of buildings and furniture. Carpenters must be able to read blueprints or other documents that explain the layout of a project or structure in order to accurately complete the task at hand. Other tasks may include sanding surfaces, applying finishes such as varnish or paint, repairing furniture or doors/windows frames etc., as well as installing window frames, flooring units or stairs.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess 2+ years of professional carpentry experience along with strong knowledge of tools and materials used in carpentry work such as saws, drills etc., as well as safety protocols when using said tools. A degree or diploma from an accredited carpentry school is preferred but not required; however applicants should have a working knowledge of building codes and regulations related to carpentry work. Excellent communication skills with customers/clients are also essential for this role in order to ensure that all projects meet their expectations.
