Barista (Umm Al-Qaiwain)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Barista to join our team in Umm Al-Qaiwain! As a Barista, you will be responsible for making and serving specialty coffee drinks, pastries and snacks to customers. You will also be expected to maintain the cleanliness of the shop.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, tea and other beverages.
• Follow all recipes accurately while adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean work station by wiping down equipment and surfaces.
• Operate cash register to process customer transactions in accordance with company policy.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions and making recommendations.
• Stock cafe with supplies such as paper cups and napkins.
• Assist with cafe opening/closing duties as needed.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person!
• Valid driver’s license or state ID is required for employment in Umm Al-Qaiwain.
• Must be able to work well independently as well as with others in a team environment.
