Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Knowledge of current medical practices, procedures, and standards of care
• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the State Board of Nursing Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor patient health, diagnose medical conditions, provide treatments and medications as prescribed by doctors • Administer intravenous therapies, injections and other medical treatments as needed • Assess patient health through interviews, exams and observations; document findings accurately in patient records • Provide guidance on preventive care measures; inform patients on best practices for maintaining good health • Maintain updated knowledge on advances in nursing practice; attend professional development seminars to stay current • Respond promptly to emergencies; provide effective interventions when necessary • Collaborate with other professionals such as doctors, pharmacists and physical therapists to ensure patient needs are met
