Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators to excavate trenches, foundations, and other structures as directed by the supervisor.
• Monitor the operation of the excavator, including checking fluid levels, inspecting hoses, belts, filters and other components for wear.
• Load materials into trucks and other vehicles as required.
• Comply with all safety regulations while operating heavy equipment.

Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent experience; a valid driver’s license is also required. • Previous experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role; minimal work experience will also be considered. • Ability to read plans/blueprints and use measuring tools such as levels and tape measures accurately. • Knowledge of applicable federal regulations related to operating excavators safely on construction sites; knowledge of OSHA guidelines is preferred. • Excellent physical fitness; must be able to lift heavy objects without assistance.
