Job Summary:

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our rapidly growing medical team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a pharmacist role, be comfortable working with medications and the public, and be passionate about providing excellent customer service. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary of 1200 AED per month. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, including foreigners.

Responsibilities:

The Pharmacist's primary responsibility is to dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. This involves reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and verifying the correct strength, dosage form, and directions for use. Furthermore, the Pharmacist must provide information about medications to patients or caregivers and respond to any questions about proper usage or side effects. Other duties include stocking shelves with medications, maintaining records of controlled substances, providing advice on how to properly store drugs at home, monitoring drug interactions with other medications taken by the patient, preparing compounds or specialized formulations as needed and keeping up with advances in pharmaceuticals by reading current literature and attending seminars or conferences as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences from an accredited university along with a valid pharmacy license in UAE; however foreigners must obtain a valid license before being considered for this role. Additionally we require at least 2-3 years of experience in a pharmacist role as well as proficiency in English (oral/written). The successful applicant should also have excellent customer service skills as well as knowledge of applicable laws regulating pharmaceuticals and be able to effectively communicate any potential risks associated with taking certain drugs.
