Job Title: Librarian
Location: Dubai
Salary: 1200 AED/month

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, cataloging and managing library resources, as well as providing research assistance to library patrons.

Responsibilities:
• Greet patrons and provide them with assistance in locating materials.
• Process new materials, including books, periodicals and digital media.
• Assist patrons with their research needs by providing access to online databases and other electronic resources.
• Monitor library circulation activities and maintain circulation records in accordance with library policies.
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Train staff on the use of library systems and services.
• Oversee the maintenance of library equipment such as computers, printers, scanners etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience working in a library setting preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications is required; knowledge of specialized software programs used in libraries is preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential for this role.
