Librarian job vacancy in Dubai UAE for unskilled workers


We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Librarian, preferably in a library setting.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The position will require the successful candidate to manage the library’s collection, maintain and update catalogs, organize events, provide reference services to patrons, coordinate library activities and processes, as well as promote programs and services offered by the library.

Applicants must demonstrate expertise in using computer systems together with knowledge of library automation systems to retrieve information. They should also be able to work with a variety of online resources such as databases and other digital materials. The successful candidate should be familiar with copyright regulations, reader’s advisory services, children’s literature, reference materials and current technology trends.
