Welder Job Summary
We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Doha. This individual will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in construction, industrial and other projects. The ideal candidate should have experience with various welding techniques such as Stick, MIG, TIG, flux core and oxy-acetylene welding.

Job Responsibilities
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces together
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating welding equipment

Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as Welder or similar role (preferred)
• Ability to read technical documents (blueprints/schematics)
• Working knowledge of relative safety standards
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG)
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time in a noisy environment • Knowledge of relative materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum) • High school diploma; certification from a vocational school is preferred
