Psychiatrist Vacancy - Doha

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist for our Doha-based practice. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100 per month and is open to foreign applicants. Job Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
• Provide psychotherapy services such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and other therapeutic modalities.
• Monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
• Perform regular consultations with psychiatrists from other specialties.
• Participate in training programs for medical staff and community members on mental health issues.
• Actively participate in clinical research projects related to psychiatry.
Qualifications:
• MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry from an accredited university/college program recognized by the Qatar Ministry of Health.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a psychiatrist in an outpatient setting or hospital setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English; knowledge of Arabic is desired but not required
